Heat Wave

Pulled a shot this morning and the crema was thick and caramel-colored—the lighter roast keeps it bright without any harsh bite. I've tried it in the french press too, and it holds up beautifully both ways.

The sun-dried processing really comes through in the cup—there's a sweet, clean brightness I haven't gotten from other beans. Makes a fantastic filter brew, and the lighter roast keeps it from turning bitter even when I get distracted. This one's going on my regular rotation.

First bag of this Colombian roast lasted four days in our house, which says everything. Brewed it in the french press and the lighter profile came through clean and bright without any bitterness.
