How We Like It: It’s extraordinary every way—french press, filter, or espresso
Brewed a cup in my french press this morning and the fully washed process shows—it’s clean and bright without any bitterness, even as it cools. The lighter roast keeps things delicate but there's still that classic Colombian richness underneath.
The light roast really lets the sun-dried character show through in a french press; it's got a smooth, clean finish without any of that bitter edge. Works well enough as an espresso too, though I slightly prefer it brewed longer.
It’s a solid, pleasant coffee, and the lighter roast really lets the Colombian brightness come through in my French press. That said, I found it a bit too delicate for my usual espresso taste—fine, but not something I’d go out of my way for again.
