Pulled a shot with these beans this morning and the crema was thick enough to hold a spoon. Even through the darker roast, the Colombian origin gives it a smooth finish that my French press brings out just as well.

I was a bit worried the darker roast would be too intense for my french press, but it’s surprisingly smooth with a rich finish. The Colombian beans have that nice, deep character without any bitterness. Good everyday coffee, though I wish the bag had a resealable zipper.

It's a solid, dark Colombian roast that works fine in my french press, though I found it slightly bitter when I tried it as espresso. Nothing wrong with it, but it hasn't exactly wowed me either.
