Brewed this in my French press this morning and the medium roast hits that perfect balance—smooth enough for black coffee but with a lively East African brightness that wakes you up properly. The Latin American and East African beans come through nicely in a French press—there's a subtle brightness that lingers without turning bitter. I wish the bag had a roast date printed on it, but the daily cup is solid enough that I've already ordered it again.
